RHEINE, GERMANY — ColorLogic GmbH has released ColorAnt 6, the most advanced color measurement correction tool that can manipulate, analyze and optimize measurement data including RGB, CMYK and Multicolor. The Measure Tool has undergone major changes and improvements making it easier than ever. You can measure multiple charts without leaving Measure Tool, or quickly re-measure partial charts. This is ideal for correcting faulty data with just a few clicks. Even a new Virtual Device has been added to the device list, which allows you to enter Lab values for selected patches manually.
ColorAnt 6 brings overall new capabilities and enhancement to the features used every day. ColorLogic has elaborated on the Viewing and Comparing options to make evaluations easier with additional color filters and color distance formulas. Custom Chart Enhancements allow you to make CxF/X-4 Wedges including black gradation patches for CxF/X-4 test charts. New TVI correction curve export for the Tone Value tool, and user interface improvements in Edit Primaries and Color Editor tools are just some of the many upgraded features.
“We’re excited for our customers to experience the improved features of ColorAnt 6 and how we made them more versatile. This includes test chart creation, measuring, 2D and 3D views, and the processing of measurement data. It is a collaboration of our input and ColorLogic’s commitment to responding to the customer’s needs. I use it every day,” Thorsten Braun, CTO of ColorLogic states.
