RHEINE, GERMANY — ColorLogic GmbH has released ColorAnt 6.1, an advanced color measurement correction tool that creates, analyzes and optimizes measurement data now supports the latest measurement devices in the printing industry. The X-Rite i1Pro3 and third-generation i1iO, the MYIRO-1 and automatic positioning for the Barbieri LFPqb via the camera are the newest in spectrophotometer compatibility. ColorAnt 6.1 also supports additional devices from Barbieri and X-Rite as well other manufactures such as Konica-Minolta. All these devices are compatible with the latest macOS 10.15 and Windows 10 operating systems.
“The new X-Rite i1Pro 3 provides an advanced, robust and fast measurement solution over a variety of materials and processes. Combined with the features of ColorAnt 6.1 to capture, optimize, and analyze data it provides a strong toolkit for advanced ICC profiling.” states Ray Cheydleur, Printing and Imaging Product Portfolio Manager of X-Rite.
This is the first update since ColorAnt 6 release in January 2020 which underwent major changes and improvements making it easier than ever. Additional updates are a new menu entry Open chart directory that takes you directly to the wedge folder to add your own charts. A new Virtual Device Printer has been added that simulates typical behavior of Offset printing data. And to prevent small measurement errors, it is now possible to define a fourth chart corner for the i1iO Table. These updates along with several bugs fixes are just some of the improvement of ColorAnt 6.1.
“We pride ourselves on keeping our products current with the latest in industry standards and device compatibility, making our products even more effective than our competitors,” Thorsten Braun, CTO of ColorLogic states. “It is a collaboration of our input and ColorLogic’s commitment to responding to the customer’s needs.”
