RHEINE, GERMANY — ColorLogic GmbH announces the release of its latest profiling solution, CoPrA 7, a control center for ICC color profiling tasks. The new Auto Rendering option for DeviceLinks makes it easy to decide which rendering option to use when solving typical use cases. There are also additional rendering options for printer and devicelink profiles in CoPrA 7.

New features and enhancements

The new CoPrA 7 delivers even more capabilities and enhancements to a user’s workflow. The Recent Files feature allows the user to right-click on the Load button to select the most recent data file (e.g., measurement data, created ICC profiles, images) for quick access. There is an additional option in Multicolor Mode called the Preserve Color Properties. In the Profile Manager, the 3D Gamut view, now shows the deltaE of out-of-gamut colors to the gamut surface. Another improvement to an existing feature, is the search and extraction of embedded profiles from DeviceLinks. CoPrA 7 adds support for printing with white ink on black substrates for CMY+White and CMYK+White for printer and DeviceLink profiles. These are just a handful of the many new improvements to current features that are familiar to users.

“We’re excited for our customers to experience major improvements such as automatic optimization of rendering settings, profiling with white ink, and enhancements of multicolor device linking giving users even more automation than ever before,” states Thorsten Braun, CTO of ColorLogic. “All the new features in CoPrA 7 are a great example of a collaboration of our development team and ColorLogic’s commitment to incorporating the customers’ requests.”
