RHEINE, GERMANY — ColorLogic GmbH releases its latest version of their smart color server, ZePrA 9 with several new features and many improvements. Most noteworthy are the Spot Color Iteration Wizard and the DeviceLink Iteration Wizard. The innovative Spot Color Iteration Wizard makes best-in-class spot color rendering easy and efficient. The spot color rendering only takes a few steps to improve and minimize the deltaE in prints. The new DeviceLink Iteration Wizard guides the user through the important and complex steps to improve the quality of the color conversion for a perfect color match. This results in an accurate proof and a far better production print.

Many enhancements to existing features

One of the many new enhancements is the Adobe Photoshop extension, Push-2-ZePrA, which now has client-server capabilities. This allows multiple users within one organization to use the best color conversion of images by applying ZePrA’s DeviceLink and spot color conversion functionalities right within Photoshop. Single or multiuser licenses are available. Another feature enhancement is the ability to load and check multiple files against one or more configurations simultaneously in the Spot Color Report module.

In the Configuration module, the Images/Vectors tab went through a complete redesign as well as the addition of new options. The conversion options are now easier to understand and configure. Another change is the drop-down menu which contains all possible SmartLink options for a given color space replacing the Apply SmartLink checkbox.

“This is our biggest software upgrade release yet,” states Thorsten Braun, CTO of ColorLogic. “Automation is our main mission so we added new wizards making color management setup easier than ever.”

ZePrA 9 is available in five different packages to fit customers’ specific needs. Upgrades to the latest version of ZePrA are available with an active Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) or it can be purchased at an upgrade price by contacting a ColorLogic dealer.
