New Workflow feature provides automation and increases efficiency

RHEINE, GERMANY — ColorLogic GmbH, a subsidiary of Hybrid Software Group, announces the release of ColorAnt 9, an advanced color measurement, correction, and optimization tool. In the latest version of ColorAnt, one major feature is the new Workflow tool. It gives the user the ability to create a custom workflow to process and optimize measurement data.

New features and improvements

ColorAnt 9 brings new capabilities and enhancements to everyday features. The Combine CxF files tool has the option to contain various measurement sets. Additionally, these files can be generated directly from ColorAnt. Tone value correction curves now offers the option to save curves in .txt format. The Color Editor now displays a warning icon to indicate colors outside of the monitor’s gamut. Another enhancement is the CIE Conversion tool can now apply to colorimetric data (XYZ or Lab). This uses a Color Appearance Transformation (CAT) based on CIECAM02.

“ColorAnt 9 integrates a new workflow tool for customized processing of measurement data enabling more automation, and enables our end-users to streamline their production,” states Thorsten Braun, CTO of ColorLogic. “In addition, we improved many tools including 3D view, data comparison, CxF support, and transmissive measuring with the Barbieri LFP.”

Users will benefit from the new features and enhancements implemented in ColorAnt 9. The improved MeasureTool now has the ability to integrate into other software using the CLI interface, as well as support Native M1 (ARM).
