17 September 2019

RHEINE, GERMANY — ColorLogic GmbH announces its release of their latest profiling solution CoPrA 6, a control center for ICC color profiling tasks. One of the most significant features is the new DeviceLink Iteration module, which optimizes the quality of DeviceLink profiles. This makes it perfect for high-quality proofing. The other significant feature is the SaveInk module, which now includes support for multicolor ink save DeviceLink profiles for increased efficiency.

New features and improvements

CoPrA 6 brings overall new capabilities and enhancement to the features used every day. The Image Conversion tool generates multi-layer PSD files with different ICC conversions for easy color comparison in pixel-based formats. Profile creation is more comprehensive and intuitive with new easy-to-use tools such as the ‘avoid dot-on-dot’ option to adjust multicolor separations for printing with AM screening. Additionally, there are more linearization output formats compatible with Adobe Photoshop® and popular RIP platforms. These are just some of the many new productivity features added to CoPrA 6.

“We’re excited for our customers to experience all the new features of CoPrA 6 and how it enhances ICC profile creation. Enhancements, quality improvements and ease-of-use reach every module in CoPrA 6. In addition, DeviceLink Iteration and additional multicolor capabilities demonstrate ColorLogic’s commitment to responding to the customer’s needs,” states Thorsten Braun, CTO of ColorLogic.

CoPrA packages and SMA

CoPrA is available in five different packages. Modules such as SaveInk and Multicolor, can be individually added to any of the base packages. Users with an active Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) are able to upgrade to the latest version of CoPrA. Alternatively, users can contact a ColorLogic dealer to purchase an upgrade.
