RHEINE, GERMANY — ColorLogic GmbH announces the release of ColorAnt 7, an advanced color measurement and correction tool that creates, analyzes and optimizes measurement data. The new Proof Evaluation tool elevates color measurement by making the proofing process easier than ever in any color space. Users can check if the proof measurement data from a media wedge fulfills the requirements for a contract proof or a validation print. An easy-to-read report is created with a pass/fail indicator.

New capabilities and enhancements

The latest version of ColorAnt continues to bring new capabilities and enhancements to everyday features. There are new features in the Report Tool such as the option to select certain categories to show on the report, display G7 curves and/or display match process colors. In the Color Editor tool, there is a new feature to create a Spot Color Report. It allows the user to check the conversion of spot colors before making the decision to print. Easy-to-use tools such as sorting capabilities and additional view options make analyzing data easier than ever. ColorAnt’s Measure Tool v4 is now 64-bit Windows compatible with support for the new MYIRO-9 device, and export chart additions are just some of the many upgraded features.

“ColorAnt 7 continues to prove it’s a superior toolkit for color measurement,” states Thorsten Braun, CTO of ColorLogic. “The new Proof Evaluation tool provides proofing data for faster assessments. It works stand-alone or in conjunction with ZePrA Smart Color Server which allows you to instantly read the reference files of the dynamic media wedges created by ZePrA.”
