RHEINE, GERMANY — ColorLogic GmbH announces the release of its latest profiling solution CoPrA 8, a control center for ICC color profiling that brings increased automation and efficiency. The DeviceLink Editing module has gone through a redesign to make it more user-friendly. It now guides users through the entire process of creating and modifying a customer DeviceLink profile. Thanks to this new process, DeviceLink editing is now as straightforward as possible.

New features and improvements

CoPrA 8 delivers more automation to every day features. The DeviceLink Rendering modes such as Automatic Paper Relative and Automatic Paper Absolute, are enhanced. The best rendering methods are now automatically calculated to include the Merge factor, Lightness and Chroma adjustments for all kinds of color spaces. The impressive new channel combination feature simplifies Multicolor printer and DeviceLink profiling. This is extremely helpful for industrial applications which use special inks such as ceramics and textile printing.

“We are excited to continue expanding our technology into all sectors of the printing industry”, states Thorsten Braun, CTO of ColorLogic. “CoPrA 8 continues to elevate state-of-the-art rendering, optimization, and automation for all printing sectors delivering high-end printer, DeviceLink and SaveInk profiles.”

ColorLogic’s CoPrA remains faithful with annual improvements and new features responding to the needs of end-users. Additionally, the improved Image Conversion now has an adjustable overlay tool. This allows the comparison of a source image file with the converted image using the defined color management workflow. Furthermore, the additional speed boost results in a profile calculation twice as fast. These are just a few of the many great improvements to keep CoPrA the leading ICC profiling application from ColorLogic.

About CoPrA: Profiling software which creates high-quality printer, DeviceLink and SaveInk profiles with a user-friendly interface for any color space and printing process. A must-have tool for any print manufacturer implementing extended gamut printing and includes a wide range of features allowing time and cost savings during production. CoPrA produces quick results working standalone, integrated into an existing workflow, or as part of the powerful ColorLogic Suite for a complete color management solution.
